What you do with us
– Further development of existing, plant-specific software systems in warehouse management
– Contact person for customers in case of complex software problems or consulting on software enhancements
– Implementation of change requests with focus on Java EE / Jakarta EE
– Ensuring the availability and performance of the systems
– In coordination with the team participation in a rotating on-call model
– Developing concepts for software deployment while maintaining plant availability
– Carrying out tests of the software as well as commissioning at the customer’s site
– Analyzing past failures and deriving measures in the team to increase customer satisfaction

What you bring with you
– Successfully completed studies in the field of computer science / information processing or comparable training
– Programming experience in object-oriented language, ideally in Java
– Experience in the use of relational databases (Oracle, MS SQL Server)
– Flexibility for assignments outside normal working hours and willingness to travel
– Experience in handling on-call activities (separate remuneration, rotating in a team) and intralogistics systems is an advantage
– Fluent German and good written and spoken English skills
– You have a customer-oriented and analytical way of working and are enthusiastic about finding solutions for incidents and thus contribute to high customer satisfaction
