I am currently working as Konstruktionsingenieur/ Mechanical Design Engineer at Robert Bosch India, since July, 2017. Altogether, I have got 13 months German work experience, (6 months in Robert Bosch GmbH, Stuttgart and 7 months internship in RWTH Aachen University). During this tenure I gathered strong knowledge about design, modelling and simulation of automotive components. I have also got hands on experience in mechanical design and development tools such as Creo parametric, ANSYS & MATLAB. I have gathered knowledge in AIT (Assembly and Interconnection Technology) of low power drives, Knowledge on general thermal management of automotive electronics, Tolerance and strength analysis of electric drives, Knowledge in ANSYS Application Customization Toolkit (ACT). I have a Master’s degree in Mechanical Design Engineering from Indian Institute of technology (IIT) Delhi, which is one of the most prestigious institutes in India for technical education & research. I had studied subjects such as Finite Element Methods (FEM), Advanced Dynamics, and Product Reliability & Maintenance. Theoretical knowledge gathered during my Master’s education along with practical work experience in ANSYS and mechanical design, I have high confidence in performing well as a Konstruktionsingenieur. During final year of my Master’s degree, being the second topper of the department, received German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) scholarship. I did my Master’s thesis from Institute of General Mechanics, RWTH Aachen University, Germany.  I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cochin University of Science And Technology (CUSAT). I was the university topper in Mechanical Engineering for my Bachelor’s. My career dream is to work in a field where I can do challenging jobs, explore latest technologies and work in core mechanical field. This was the strong motivation for me to pursue Master’s in Mechanical Design.
