WHAT YOU WILL DO

*Ensuring that the financial institution’s risk management and controlling processes (identification, assessment, management, monitoring, and communication) are fulfilled.

*Develop & maintain a risk strategy and risk appetite​ statement

*Center of competence within strategic planning process re refinancing as well as capital structure

*Develop & maintain methods for financial and non-financial risks

*Preparing risk reports and risk analysis, such as conducting risk assessments to establish the financial institution’s overall risk profile

*Maintenance of credit portfolio model​

*Center of competence for credit risk management and problem loans

*Supporting the creation of new product processes and the review and implementation of new requirements for risk management.

*Designing and implementing an overall risk management concept according to BaFin and MaRisk requirements

*Reporting about risk issues to the senior management

*Conducting regularly statistical validations of methods and procedures

*Supporting the finance department in finance-related activities

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

*Degree in studies with a finance or business & risk management background

*Deep understanding of Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement

*2-3  years of experiences in areas of Risk Management, ideally in a bank, a BaFin-regulated company, or an audit company

*Fintech as experience is a (big) plus

*Team player with a strong “hands-on” mentality and problem-solving skills

*Structured, organized, and analytical working methods are standard for you

*Your quick perception and enthusiasm for IT topics distinguish you and you are able to familiarize yourself with them quickly
