Well established, state-owned shipping line with a global footprint is seeking for a customer relationship associate for its Special Desk in downtown Budapest to support the company’s endeavors in Hungary within the Chinese business community. The company is a global shipping line with close to 400 own vessels, headquartered in Shanghai (China), with an annual volume of 2,2 Mio TEU.

In this role, you will be in charge to carry out a broad variety of customer service tasks and to represent the company towards the expanding Chinese business community in Hungary. As a motivated customer-facing talent, you will get aboard a dynamic company, eager to perform and to generate business.

Key areas of responsibility:

–         act as first point of contact for Chinese B2B customers by providing efficient solutions to their issues, dealing with queries via email and phone,

–         decide on a correct path forward to address customer needs, manage the process for escalated inquiries and complaints to resolution,

–         increase customer satisfaction and build strong relationships with internal departments and different stakeholders.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate:

–         holds a college degree

–         has a Hungarian work permit

–         has experience in sales or customer care

–         is advanced in Chinese and fluent in English as well as Hungarian – a relevant logistics experience will be an advantage
