About the role:

We are looking for a strong Senior Backend Engineer to join our fantastic team in Berlin as we enter our growth phase. Responsibilities:

*Be part of a cross-functional team of engineers

*Work with stakeholders to shape and define requirements

*Collaborate with team to build new features

*Utilize cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications

*Participate in the entire application lifecycle

*Write clean code to develop functional web applications

*Troubleshoot and debug applications

*Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic

*Gather and address technical and design requirements

*Build reusable code and libraries for future use

Your Skills

*Proven work experience with PHP (3+ years of experience required), experience with other development languages such as Ruby or Python is a big plus

*Golang (6+months experience required) and/or production experience with other statically typed languages

*Well versed in relational databases

*Working knowledge of software architecture patterns

*In depth knowledge of PHP & Symfony framework a plus

*Experience with modern devops (docker, k8s, AWS, GCP etc…) a plus
