Dear manager. I am a twenty years experienced Mechanical Engineer. I may resume my professional experience in 4 main fields: Field 1 – Process Improvement Engineer: I´ve worked several years in Quality Improvement and Cost Reduction manufacturing Projects applying PDCA, Lean and Six Sigma techniques mainly in Machining and Assembly processes but also in Casting. Just as examples, I worked in JIT and SMED implementation Kaizens and designed many simple and complex Statistical Experiments to detect problem root causes for solution deployment. I´m familiar with APQP standards, World Class Manufacturing standards and EH&S standards for the automotive industry. Field 2 – Global Field Implementation Process Engineer: Since 2013, I executed machining line implementations according to automotive standards in Mexico, Slovakia and China. In this position I personally provided layout definition, line technical specifications, full project documentation, line building follow up, tryout procedures, installation and final technical acceptance procedures. Field 3 – Process Technology Researcher: In 2007, my master degree Project was a Minimal Quantity Lubrication machining technology introduction in a large brazilian company. I´ve worked in partnership with Vögel GmbH (later bought by SKF Group). From 2014 to 2016 I´ve introduced a new grinding and superfinishing process in high end cooling compressors. This Project was run in a Design for Six Sigma approach (IDDOV roadmap) and I´ve worked in partnership with Impco (USA) and Mikrosa GmbH companies. From 2018 to 2019 I developed precision machining technology for valve seats and cylinder inner surface applications inside Embraco Innovation Center. Complex 3D Metrology requirements were part of development scope (Bruker Alicona GmbH partnership). Field 4 – Project Leader: I lead International Project implementations in Slovakia and China of production lines for high end cooling product launching. My role was to lead crossfunctional teams of engineers and technicians with diferent expertises, including, but not limited to: mechanical assembly, electronical assembly, stamping, welding, chemical and machining processes. Projects were lead according to the company´s PMO governance (Waterfall PM methodology). I currently work as an autonomous Engineering Consultant, using all my multi-field experience to support two Industrial IoT startups in the Smart Manufacturing sector. • I colaborate in New Product Developing Projects as a crossfunctional Process Engineering team leader of up to 10 engineers. I´ve been responsible for new Manufacturing process implementations in China´s plant between 2016 and 2019. The Projects were lead in a Waterfall Management Methodology and complied with APQP, EH&S and World Class Manufacturing (WCM) standard requirements. Process expertises of the team I directly lead include: Mechanical and electronical assembly, stamping, welding, machining, painting and phosphatizing, with many order product and process expertise interfaces.
• I managed a Precision Machining Technology Project in Embraco Innovation Center between 2018 and 2019. High Efficiency Product requirements involved: GD&T specification development, full Metrology solution development, (MSA), full manufacturing solution development (Six Sigma methodology IDDOV roadmap) and Process Certification according to APQP requirements;
• I took part of an Agile (SCRUM) team as the Senior Process Engineer to develop a new product for a new Market segment (2017);
• I developed and implemented a Machining Production Line to attempt High Efficiency Product Launch at Slovakia plant (2014 to 2016). The Project required a Design for Six Sigma approach, Global Suppliers prospection and high technical expertise co-development;
• I lead a crankcase machining line retrofitting in Slovakia plant (2015). The challenge was to coordinate a multinational planning and execution team (30 engineers and technicians) with the smallest budget and schedule among all similar previous retrofitting projects. We together delivered the Project beyond expectations and I received Embraco recognition as best individual Process Engineering performance of 2015;
• I´ve certified machining Process at Mexico plant for new line launch (2013) according to APQP standards. -

• I lead a multifunctional team (5 technicians) providing more than USD 100.000 savings per year in machining improvements (2004 to 2012);
• I implemented Minimal Quantity Lubrication Machining Technology in many production equipments (2007 to 2009). The Development Project reached the finals of National FINEP Technology Innovation Award in 2006;
• I implemented many manufacturing process improvements through Lean Six Sigma Projects like: washing machine assembly radial clearance reduction (2011); CNC and Conventional Machining optimizations (2003 a 2010). Quality Tools like Ishikawa, Pareto, PDCA, PFD/FMEA/PCP, DOEs and other were broadly applied;
• I took part in Productivity and JIT implementation Kaizens.
